Many hours were spent in his presence as he patiently stood by, teaching the finer arts of trout fishing. Dale and Patricia were faithful members of a supper club, along with five other couples, from the first year of their marriage until recently. They enjoyed many years of close friendship. Dale also enjoyed a regular group of his coffee buddies. It should also be noted that he was very gifted in carpentry: he built two of his homes with his brother, Frank, and could renovate and repair almost anything.
