George Arthur Sharp IV
February 5, 1967 - March 20, 2026
George Arthur Sharp IV was born on February 5th, 1967, in King of Prussia, PA. He was the son of George Arther Sharp III and Jane Adele Sharp (nee Pratt); and the stepson of Susan Rensimer Sharp. George was the youngest of four children, and his siblings included David Lewis Sharp, Kathleen Campbell Sharp, and Carolyn Regina Canigiani (nee Sharp). He was also stepbrother of Ashley Rensimer and Lee Rensimer.
At the age of two George and his family moved to Collegeville, PA. George graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School in 1985. George thereafter attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1993 as class president for his graduating class. Shortly thereafter George moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he met and eventually married Sarah Sharp (nee Stephens) in 2002. Sarah and George had two children: Jenna Marian Sharp and George Arthur Sharp V ("Geo").
George will be remembered for his quick wit, natural sense of humor and larger than life personality. He was adventurous, creative, and had a magnetic draw wherever he went. As a young teenager, he obtained his glider pilot. He grew into a skilled craftsman who put his talents to work in a variety of ways ranging from manufacturing novelties to building custom bicycles through his brands Coolcraftz and Cargo Monster. Along with his love for bikes and music, he made many meaningful connections with the Boulder Thursday Night Cruisers and the Dandy Warhols band. George's proudest accomplishment was being a father and stay-at-home dad. His love for his children was palpable.
If you had the chance to meet George, the sound of his laugh will stick with you forever. May that memory be George's legacy.
