Gloria Allen

Gloria Jean Allen, 87, of Boulder passed away on December 16, 2016. Gloria was born on July 25, 1929 in Evansville, Indiana to Ralph and Woodie Weiss. Gerald and Gloria were married on February 26, 1950. Gloria worked for Boulder Greetings. Gloria was a Girl Scout leader and loved to travel; especially by cruise ships to ports in Asia, Europe, Alaska and Hawaii. She is a past member of the Buffalo Belles and attended CU football games for over 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Gerry; children, Sherry Swenson and Pamela Conners; grandchildren, Kirstin Krueger, Justin Swenson and David Conners. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Weiss. Contributions may be made to the Deacon’s Fund of First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be on Friday, December 30 from 3:00 – 5:00 at Greenwood and Myers Mortuary, 2969 Baseline Road, Boulder. The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 31 at 11:00 at the First Presbyterian Church in Boulder. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
