Over the following decades, Jake led several institutions, including Boulder Valley Bank and Trust, Community First Bank, Guaranty Bank and Trust, and Colorado Capital, leaving an indelible mark on the local business landscape.
Jake and his wife Barb were longtime supporters of the University of Colorado Athletic Department, including being named the Golden Buffalo Scholarship Fund donors of the year in 2003.
