Jim Schiferl Obituary

Jim Schiferl, 75, of Firestone, Colorado, passed away on July 20, 2026.

Jim was born in Burlington, Colorado to Bob and Nora Lee Schiferl and grew up in Milliken, Colorado, He lived a long and happy life spending time with family. Jim enjoyed camping and fishing, bowling, and gardening.

Jim was happily retired after a long career in the plumbing industry and the tool and die industry.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barb (Blacker); his parents, Bob and Nora Lee Schiferl; his brother, Tom Schiferl; his sister-in-law Pat Carter and her husband George Summers and brothers-in-law, Mike Perkins and Don Blacker.

He is survived by his daughters, Michele (Shelly) Steward and Debra Schiferl; his granddaughter Sarah Steward; his sisters, Kris Kirby (Delbert) and Sherry Gorsuch; his brothers-in law Rick Blacker and Steve Blacker (Jackie) and his sisters-in-law Beth Blacker (Steve Frye) and Mag Blacker (Mike-d); and several nieces and nephews.

Jim will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
