On Monday, August 8, 2022, Kevin Holt passed away at the age of 64.
Kevin was born on August 27, 1957 in St. Louis, MO to Jack and Shirley (Beal) Holt. He received his engineering degree from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1984 and his Master of Business Administration from Maryville University in 1995; he was an engineer and program manager at Boeing for over 37 years. In 1983, he married Laura Jean Chrismer. They raised two daughters, Christine and Catherine.
Kevin was a sports fanatic, both professional and intramural. He particularly loved hockey and baseball. He hoped one day to finally witness the St. Louis Blues hoist a Stanley Cup which they thankfully fulfilled in 2019. His love of hockey extended beyond the Blues, as he played intramural hockey for 40+ years. He was more fortunate in his passion for baseball and softball, having experienced the St. Louis Cardinals winning the World Series 5 times in his lifetime and taking home many intramural softball trophies in his 37 year playing career at Boeing. Additionally, Kevin had a passion for triathlons and travel. He competed in numerous local triathlons as well as four half-Ironman races. Through business and leisure, he traveled to over 20 countries and most recently celebrated his 60th birthday with a tour of Italy with his daughters. He was an avid music lover with a vast collection of 60s and 70s rock albums.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Shirley. He leaves behind his brother, Chris (Melanie), and two children, Christine (Matt) and Catherine. He was also the proud grandfather of Christine’s daughter, Hannah, and son, Andrew.
A celebration of life will be held at Westborough Country Club (631 S Berry Rd) on September 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make any contributions to the Aerospace STEM Endowment.
