Michael Manders

Michael Martin Manders, of Louisville, CO passed away on April 16, 2023. Michael was born on July 3, 1961 in Minneapolis, MN to Franklin and Cozette Manders. Michael is survived by his wife, Lynn, his children; Joe Manders (Kellie), Jeff Manders, and Nicole Manders (Scott); sister, Sherry Benedetti; and grandchildren Jaxton and Harper Manders. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike attended Fairview High School (class of 1980) where he met his lifelong dance partner and forever love, Lynn. They married on September 6, 1986 and raised their family in Lafayette and Louisville. Mike and Lynn loved dancing to country music and traveling to Nashville. He visited his kids and grandchildren in Arizona as often as possible and never missed Spring Training. He enjoyed taking his dog Cody on long walks and tending to his immaculate lawn and flowers. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching CU and Broncos football, Rockies and Cardinals baseball and the Avalanche with his friends and family. Mike was an insurance agent for 32 years and maintained very close connections with his clients.

Mike was a loving husband, father, and grandpa. He was dedicated to his family and never missed his kid's events as they grew up. We are proud of the man he was and forever grateful that we got to call him Dad. A celebration of his life will be held on June 17th in Louisville.
