Nicholas Philippou

Nicholas Philippou, beloved Son and Brother died unexpectedly at the home he was residing in Denver, on July 26, 2021. Nicholas was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and emigrated to the US at the age of 4, with his parents in May 1998. He attended Monarch K-8 in Louisville Colorado and then graduated from high school from Peak to Peak charter school in 2012. He successfully attended Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, where he studied Sports Science for a time before choosing to return to Colorado and instead enter the workplace. He held positions in retail working for Costco, Service Parts Logistics in a family owned company, and as a Sous Chef at several restaurants in Fort Collins. Most recently he found his passion working in marketing and sales,both for a medical grade CBD laboratory in Fort Collins, and in his own business. He is survived by his parents Andrew and Ronell Philippou and Sister Jessica Phillipou. Nicholas loved people, was always willing to help, and was a faithful friend who embraced every venture or job with enthusiasm and dedication. He loved the outdoors and being in nature. He especially loved the wildlife of his birth country of South Africa and was very knowledgeable of its birds. He had many diverse interests including cooking, fly-fishing, cars, motorcycles, music, shooting sports and gaming. He was always smiling, and those that knew him well could attest to his endearing personality.

A memorial will be held at Calvary Bible Church, 3245 Kalmia Ave, Boulder, CO 80301 at 10AM on Saturday August 7th followed by a celebration of life at his parent's home in Louisville.
