Come to me, my good and faithful servant, called the Lord.
Come and enjoy the fruits of a life well-lived.
Sandra Frederick Dannenberg
Born: January 4, 1956
Deceased: October 26, 2026
Sandy was raised in St. Louis and graduated from the University of Colorado, where she and Rob met. Sandy was a teacher and taught at schools in the US, Sweden, West Germany, and Russia. She loved children and they loved her.
Sandy loved skiing, hiking, biking, reading, tennis and pickleball. She loved living in the mountains but never missed a sunrise on the beach when at the family home in Pawley’s Island, SC. She loved watching Ralphie run at CU football games. More than anything, Sandy loved her family and friends.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Dannenberg, daughters Katy, Christy (Murphy) and her husband Dave, son Tory, and daughter Maddy (Miller) and her husband RJ, and grandchildren Rowan, Kaja Mitzi, and Finn. She is also survived by her beloved dog Blue.
Sandy’s favorite charities were the V Foundation and St. Jude’s. She was a decades long contributor to the St. Louis Zoo. She would surely be grateful if you were to donate to any of those organizations or any organization focused on cancer research.
Sandy’s private final arrangements are being taken care of by Greenwood & Myers Mortuary in Boulder, Colorado. On Monday November 2nd she will be interred at Columbia Cemetery also in Boulder. There will be a celebration of her life Chautauqua Park in Boulder at 4 pm on 15 November for family and friends.
Sandy will be dearly missed. She brightened up every room she ever walked into and heaven is now a little bit brighter with her arrival.
