Victor Joseph Bovine of Broomfield, CO left this world on June 2, 2021. He was born on September 9, 1941 to Susan Sedlock Bovine and Victor George Bovine in Newark, NJ. He grew up in Newark and Irvington, NJ graduating from Irvington High School and attended Rutgers University.
At a young age he was shining shoes on the streets of Newark NJ and as a teenager worked at the flower shop run by his Father and Uncle.
Vic worked at IBM for 34 years in New York City; Sterling Forest, NY; Franklin Lakes, NJ; and retiring in Boulder, CO. He held many positions in Marketing, Software Delivery and was part of the original team in Boulder CO starting the Consulting business that continues as a mainstay in IBM today.
He loved music, especially Frank Sinatra, being one of his biggest fans with quite an assortment of memorabilia. He enjoyed attending his children's school, sporting, and life events, CU tailgating and football games, fishing, watching the Godfather for the umpteenth time, and his giant bowl of chocolate ice cream every night!
Vic is survived by his wife Jeanne, children Susanne Valle, Matthew Bovine, Nicholas Bovine and Lindsey Bovine. Grandchildren Madelyn, Olivia, and Vincent Valle. Sisters Judy McGarritty (Ralph) and Patti Daly (Jimmy), In-laws, numerous nieces and nephews. Vic was preceded in death by his parents, precious infant daughter Pamela Bovine, very special nephew Christopher Daly, and many Aunts and Uncles.
We would like to thank all Vic's doctors, nurses, staff and caregivers from Griswold Home Care, and especially the staff and caregivers at Sunrise at Westminster who provided Vic with excellent care.
For over 20 years, Vic was accompanied by a difficult companion of Parkinson's Disease. In lieu of flowers, it would be greatly appreciated that any contributions you wish to share go to either the Parkinson's Association of the Rockies, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or a charity of your choice in Vic's Memory.
